Making Oobleck

Purpose: To find out what state of matter oobleck is.

Materials: Corn starch, water, spoon, bowl, fat surface.

Steps:

1. Tip some corn starch into your bowl.

2.Pour water into the bowl little at a time until it comes together.

3.Go in with your hands/spoon and mix it together till it forms.

4. Have fun and lay with your oobleck .

Results:

Sticky

When you hold it, it's hard then when you let go it starts to drips.

Conclusion: The 3 states of matter are solid, liquid and gas

Solid-

Solid stays in its shape and has volume.

Liquid-

Doesn't have a shape but it has a volume. You can drink liquid or swim in liquid.

Gas-Gas is very far away from each other. Gas has no shape or volume you can walk through gas. And breath in gas.
